The United states government has called for giant inflatable spheres generally known as ‘water walking balls’ being banned before someone is killed.
People climb to the plastic, water walking ball and then roll around – or try to walk – on water in pools, lakes or rivers across the U.S. but safety chiefs believe there exists a huge probability of suffocation or drowning.
A couple have already been hurt when using ‘water walking balls’ over the last year and from now on the individual Product Safety Commission has urged state officials to outlaw the orbs.
The commission stated it ‘does not are aware of any safe method to use’ the items, which can be popular at amusement parks, resorts, malls and carnivals. They resemble hamster balls however they are big enough for humans.
‘We want to tell everyone how dangerous these items are before someone is killed,’ said Inez Tenenbaum, chairman of your commission.
